“Training Series to Support TNI 2016 Implementation”
Session 1 of 6 -June 12th, 2018
Speaker: Diane Lawver
The first steps to implementing the potential ELAP Standard (TNI 2016 Standard) is to learn how the read the Standard and how to interpret its requirements. Diane Lawver will present the TNI 2016 Standard along with a summary of key points in a series of 6 presentations. A copy of the TNI 2016 Standard will be projected during the presentation to provide clause by clause training and emphasize troublesome requirements for small laboratories during implementation. Best practices for aligning with the Standard in a small laboratory will also be presented. Tools and resources to improve efficiency for implementation will also be discussed and shown in practice.
Note: This training is limited to 70 TNI 2016 tickets will go on sale May 1st, 2018.

Attendee Requirements and Provisions
Attendees will need to bring their own copy of the TNI 2016 Standard, Rev 2.1 to follow along and take notes. A powerpoint presentation summarizing key points and tools for small laboratories will be provided as part of the training material. Open discussion and questions will be encouraged throughout the training. If time does not allow a topic to be covered, it will be moved to the next planned session.
