Motor Control Basics – 6/6 or 6/7
June 7 @ 7:00 am - 3:45 pm
Motor Control Basics – June 6 OR June 7, 2018
The CWEA SFBS’s Professional Development Committee will be holding a full-day seminar on Motor Control Basics. Based on highly positive feedback for his hands-on training provided in CWEA’s North Coast Section, Bill McBroome has agreed to participate in a Motor Control Basics training class for CWEA’s SF Bay Section. Our format, however, will include both a lecture portion (provided by Diep Nguyen, DTN Engineers) and hands-on exercises (by Bill McBroome, McKinleyville Community Services District). Since each class will be LIMITED to about 20 people, we are offering the class on June 6 and on June 7 (choose one date). Topics we expect to cover include: motor fundamentals, motor controller basics, motor control centers, motor control circuits, and hands-on exercises.
Operators, Maintenance Technicians (Mechanical, I&C), Junior Engineers, and others who want to understand motors and how to control them won’t want to miss this seminar!
The seminar is scheduled at the Dublin San Ramon Services District (Field Operations Facility, 7035 Commerce Circle, Pleasanton). Last day to sign up is June 1, 2018.
To reserve your spot, please register online. If after June 1, please email Linda Leong @ firstname.lastname@example.org
