Zeolite Anammox De-Ammonification Technology

Please join us at the April dinner meeting which will include a fascinating presentation on the emerging Zeolite Anammox technology that utilizes zeolite media and a bacteria cocktail of nitrifiers and anammox to remove ammonia and total Nitrogen from wastewater. Zeolite Anammox can be much more cost effective than traditional processes due to lower construction costs, lower operating costs and reduced monitoring and maintenance. Several Treatment Plants in the bay area have already commissioned zeolite-anammox pilot plants, and the technology is being exported across the US. We hope you can join us.

Robert Collison, Ph.D, P.E.

Rob Collison has over 30 years civil engineering experience in USA, Europe, and Africa.  He has a PhD in Biological Systems Engineering from the University of California at Davis, CA; a BSc in Civil Engineering; and a BSc in Forestry. His experience includes eight years as a contractor, four years in local government, and 20 years as a consultant. He is a registered engineer in California (PE), and a chartered engineer in Britain (MICE CEng). He is currently developing the zeolite-anammox deammonification system.
