Topic: Bay Area Biosolids Coalition Efforts in Response to Regulatory Developments Impacting Biosolids Management
This presentation will highlight new state and local regulations that could significantly impact Bay Area biosolids management practices within the coming decade and recent efforts by Bay Area Biosolids Coalition to respond with sub-regional solutions that are local, diverse,and sustainable, including development of facilities to generate beneficial biosolids-based products.

Speaker: Sarah A. Deslauriers, PE, ENV SP
Sarah has 14 years of service at Carollo Engineers and is their Climate Change Services Lead. She also serves as the program manager for CASA’s Climate Change Program and the Bay Area Biosolids Coalition. She has BS and MS degrees in Atmospheric, Oceanic, and Space Science, as well as a MS degree in Environmental and Water Resources Engineering from the University of Michigan.
